I was born in Columbia, grew up in Kansas City, and have been back in Columbia, calling it home for the last 20 plus years. My vocational life has hovered between pastoral ministry and residential construction, experiences that have given me an appreciation for the complexities of work, family, the church, and ordinary life. I have a heart for seeing marriages flourish, supporting all kinds of people as they serve healthy (or maybe not so healthy) churches and communities, and walking alongside those recovering from addiction and facing the many challenges life brings. Outside of counseing I enjoy gardening, reading, cycling, practicing jiujitsu and other combat sports.
