Hi! I’m Elizabeth. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Life from Columbia College and a Masters in Clinical Counseling from Columbia International University. I enjoy working with individuals and families from all walks of life.
I’ve had the opportunity to travel and study in multiple countries and work with a variety of cultures. As a counselor, I believe it is important to recognize that people do not live isolated, so therapy should encompass a holistic approach. Life is hard, and sometimes we need someone to walk through those tough spots with us. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered; all of which I use in my approach to therapy. My goal is to provide a safe space for people to share their stories and process emotions.
My specialties include:
· Anxiety
· Depression
· Suicidal Ideation
· Self-esteem
· Grief
· Parenting
· Spirituality
