I grew up on the MS Gulf Coast and moved to SC after hurricane Katrina. Following high school, I attended a discipleship ministry training program through which I earned a ministerial license and then worked at a Christian residential rehabilitation program. I completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in child and family studies from the University of Southern MS and a master’s degree in clinical counseling with a certificate of Biblical ministry from Columbia International University. As a LPC, I’ve worked at an in-patient psychiatric hospital, and in private practice. I currently practice full time at Palmetto Counseling Associates. I enjoy working with a variety of ages and issues including: anxiety, depression, grief & loss, trauma, crisis, marriage & family issues, and personal & spiritual development. I draw from a variety of therapeutic models in order to meet my clients’ needs emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually. When I’m not at work I enjoy family, friends, travel, creative endeavors, learning, nature, and the beach!
