I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from Columbia International University. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), and have completed training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My therapeutic interests include working with individuals and couples struggling with trauma, anxiety, marriage/relational issues, and working through life transitions.
Before counseling, I worked as an educator and missionary. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education Mathematics from Clemson University. Due to my experience, I have a heart for missionary families on the field and in transition. In addition, my experience with international adoption has led to a passion for working with adoptive families in all areas of the journey.
I utilize a variety of approaches including emotionally focused, cognitive behavioral, experiential, and person-centered to help individuals reach their desired change.
When Mollie is not working with clients, she enjoys spending time with her family on outdoor adventures. Often, you will find her on a soccer field or track watching her children at sporting events.
I am often joined in the office by my therapy dog Becca. Becca is friendly and loves pats and snuggles. Becca is registered with Therapy Dogs International and has been a wonderful additon to the office.
